Since its official opening in 1992, Golden Coast Golf & Country Club has been dedicated to promoting the legacy and local cultivation of golf, making it a highly influential contracted course of the Taiwan Professional Golf Association (TPGA). Adhering to the business philosophy of "striving for excellence," the club not only continuously refines its operational management but also aspires to become an international, high-standard sports venue. As the first golf course in Taiwan to pass ISO-9002 international quality certification, we are not just a sports venue; we also aim to provide a world-class golfing experience for every player with meticulous service quality.
The course is located in the North Coast and Guanyinshan National Scenic Area in Shimen District, New Taipei City. It was designed by the internationally renowned golf course design authority, Packard IND. of the USA, with specific design input from U.S. Open champion Andy North. All 18 holes were constructed to strict PGA international standards, featuring a par 72 and a total length of 7,012 yards, perfectly embodying the strategic depth of an international-level course.
The most acclaimed aspect of this venue is its unique geographical advantages. Backed by green mountains and facing the vast ocean, it is one of the very few truly "coastal" golf courses in Taiwan. Along every golfing path, players can gaze upon the magnificent Pacific Ocean seascape. As golfers stroll along the coastal fairways, they can not only appreciate the grand beauty of the azure sea, sky, and lush greenery intertwined but also experience the thrill of the sea breeze and the sight of their golf ball soaring into the sky.
From its opening in 1992 until today, Golden Coast has gone through the arduous process of starting up and gradually improving, consistently upholding the brand core of "realizing dreams and pursuing excellence." We have overcome topographic challenges, carving out this competitive sanctuary that combines human grandeur with natural landscapes. The imposing 12-meter grand entrance, reminiscent of an ancient European castle, symbolizes our continuous advancement towards internationalization and our professional ambition.
