Taipei Golf Club, located in Luzhu District, Taoyuan City, is a landmark golf course with a long history and profound heritage. Its predecessor dates back to 1953, when it was a nine-hole course built by General He Yingqin, former strategic advisor to the Presidential Office, in Nanji Chang (present-day Youth Park area) in Taipei City. In the 1980s, due to the development needs and expansion plans of urban areas, the golf course moved to its current location in Kengzi Village, Luzhu District, Taoyuan City. After more than half a century of evolution, Taipei Golf Course has not only witnessed the development history of golf in Taiwan but has also become a classic venue for golfers in northern Taiwan.
The course covers a vast area and boasts a spectacular scale of thirty-six holes, cleverly divided into four fairway sections: A, B, C, and D, offering golfers a rich and diverse selection.
