Located in Shimen District, the northernmost part of Taiwan, Binhai Golf Club is one of Taiwan's few truly authentic seaside golf courses, boasting the unique geographical feature of being "surrounded by mountains on three sides and facing the sea on one." Backed by the Datun Mountain Range and fronting the East China Sea, golfers can enjoy panoramic views of the vast, blue Pacific Ocean from anywhere on the course. The course's design offers a moderate level of difficulty, making full use of the hilly terrain to present challenging undulations. In particular, the 12th and 15th holes feature natural pond hazards, demanding precise shot strategy and distance control from golfers. Currently, the course operates on a "fully self-service play mode," with no caddie service provided. Golfers must drive their own electric carts, making it ideal for those who prefer to control their own pace of play and love the natural scenery of the North Coast. Thanks to its unique topographical protection, the course maintains an excellent playing environment even though it is located in the northeastern monsoon zone, making it suitable for golf year-round.
